Three Things I'm Loving
1. I'm doing a weird thing where I'm reading a bajillion (three) books at once. I think I'm trying to reconcile my desire to read fiction with the knowledge that to write nonfiction you ought to read it. So, I'm bouncing back and forth between On Writing by Stephen King, Rising Strong by Brené Brown and The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware.
I'm obsessed with all three in different ways.
The Woman in Cabin 10 is an instant page turner. Sort of like The Girl on the Train, but, so far, I like it better.
On Writing is excellent for anyone who wants to write well.
And Rising Strong is genius - just a book everyone and their mama and sister should read.
2. Worn Wear by Patagonia: Have you guys seen this? Do other people know about this? Is this new? These are the things I asked myself (and my siblings!) when I stumbled upon this site. You can buy used, discounted Patagonia gear and sell your old gear (even if it is broken!) back. Better for the consumer, better for the earth. I'm obsessed.
How much do I love this dress? So much that I immediately put it on in the store (like a five year old), then sent my mom and sisters a pic so they could buy it. It's love. (Don't mind the toilet!)
3. This dress. This is not an ad or affiliate link. This is a confession. I found this dress at Walmart in Tennessee when we were there over the Fourth. I am in love. I've worn it five times in a week. Yes, five. Told ya I was confessing! It is so comfortable and is now on sale for $5!
