whimsical wednesdays {thankful}

Although it's fun to dream of everything I don't need, but still want, this whimsical wednesday, I'm abstaining from wishing. 

I have so much more than I could ever need, and I'm incredibly (beyond words) thankful for it.  And, to be honest, all I really want is for all my family to be together in one place (for the holidays...and every single day).

Jim and I just started watching Mad Men from the beginning of the series and I was shocked to see these photos of Kiernan Shipka (aka Sally Draper).

She's stunning, and only ten years old. I thought age ten was supposed to be the beginning of the awkward years...?

I normally get annoyed when the news beats every story to death (Octomom...) but I am so grateful that they can't stop talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton. I have a huge girl crush on her.

She's so cute and it boggles my mind that she was just a normal girl when she went to college.

...And now she is royalty.

Over the next few weeks I might be slightly preoccupied; I'll be busy devoting all my resources to scoring a wedding invite.
