It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown

I don't claim that I'm exactly the best movie watcher. In fact, I admit that I might be one of the worst around. I don't typically have the highest level of patience for sitting still for two hours.

I've never been tempted by the idea of going to the theatres and paying for one movie but seeing two. In fact, I'm rarely tempted by the idea of going go the movies at all, let alone doing it twice (something might be wrong with me).

However, if there was a double triple feature I could get down for, it would definitely be the Peanuts Deluxe Holiday Collection.
Every year, from Thanksgiving to Christmas, my dad plays the Charlie Brown Christmas album in the mornings.  I love waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and the sounds of Vince Guaraldi.

Although I didn't even like cartoons when I was a little kid (seriously something is wrong with me), the memories the music conjures makes these movies easily some of the best films around.

When I saw the holiday collection on sale this week at Uncrate, I was so happy.

I can't believe Halloween is just a few days away - and before we know it the sounds of gobbling turkeys, jingle bells ringing and Vince Guaraldi singling will be filling the house again.  We better enjoy this 70 degree weather for as long as possible.

My great, irrational fear in life is that I'm not grateful enough. 

It's totally illogical, as you can only say thank you so many times, and one thank you note is completely sufficient. 

However, it's something that has plagued me my entire life.

I'll walk away from certain settings and think, did I say thank you enough? I hope they know how much I appreciate what I did.   Which typically results in me sending a follow up text or making a quick call, just to say thank you again. 

I already stress about the time in my life that I'll have wedding and baby showers. How will I ever thank every person for such generosity?!

I know it's just a matter of feeling touched by the amazingly supportive people I've been blessed with. I just feel so grateful for all my friends and family do - I really do believe they're far better than average. Overwhelmingly so.

Is it possible I've found the solution with ThankThank Notes?

The site allows you to enter your distribution list from an Excel document and type up a quick (heartfelt) note. From there, they'll handwrite the thank you cards, address them, and send them out for you.

Is this every bride's dream?

Since I'm kind of a thank you note addict, and my handwriting is pretty distinct, I'm not sure the site would work for me.  And, if I don't trust myself to say thank you well enough, I'm not sure my type-A self would be willing to place control into someone else's hands.

However, for corporate communications, it seems kind of ingenious. I can't imagine if I got an email from Kate Spade thanking me with a handwritten note, as opposed to a quick follow up email.  Customer service at its finest...

babies on the go

Although I'm still far from the world of babies, sometimes I feel like I know a little bit more than the average girl my age, thanks to Courtney and Ashley. 

And while I certainly do not understand the woes of motherhood, I like to think of myself as empathetic, and at the very least, I understand that they experience challenges everyday that make my life look like a cinch.

From boogers to pouters to meltdowns, the world they're living in takes a touch more preparation and patience than my little world of one(ish) does.

So, I couldn't resist blogging about these on-the-go baby changing kits. While they may not yet be necessary in my life, they do fulfill a few of my favorite criteria: cute, efficient, easy to make, great for gifts, and color coordinated.
I'll just file it away for the day when baby bags replace purses and onesies are more thrilling than skirts and dresses.
